Payoffs on all one year assessments that HAVE been certified, AND appear on the Summit County Tax Duplicate for the current tax year, will be paid with the property taxes.
PROJECT PAYOFF INFORMATION:Payoffs on projects that have NOT been certified, and do NOT yet appear on the Summit County Tax Duplicate for the current tax year , are payable to the City of Akron, Department of Special Assessments, 166 S. High St., Rm 505, Akron OH 44308. Only those projects showing “Type F” are eligible to be paid at this time.
Payoffs on projects that HAVE been certified, AND appear on the Summit County tax duplicate for the current tax year, are payable to the Summit County Fiscal Office, Department of Special Assessments, 175 S.
